The base plate has castors so that the system can be moved quickly from one place to another – even from delivery room to delivery room. MULTITRAC® requires little space, so it can be stowed away in a very space-saving way when needed. Thanks to the integrated tether, it can be set up anywhere in the room and is not tied to a specific place. The support rope is also a central element of the birthing system. It enables vertical birth, which is considered by many midwives to be an ideal birth position. Because of the standing or sitting position, gravity practically helps with the expulsion phase, and the birth is on average faster than in the lying position. The partner can provide better support and an episiotomy is needed much less often.
